Throughout the history of global missions, the Chinese Christian Mission (CCM), founded by Rev. Thomas Wang, has long carried the vision of "Reaching the Chinese to Reach the World." Rev. Wang believed deeply that God's Kingdom transcends individuals and denominations, and he devoted his life to responding to God's call to global missions.
Nowadays, Canada has become home to countless newcomers—immigrants, refugees, and international students, all living under the same sky. The field for cross-cultural missions is now at our very doorstep. To continue the missional heart that God entrusted to Rev. Wang, to honour his lifelong service and carry forward the spiritual legacy he left, the CCM Canada Charitable Foundation has established the Rev. Thomas Wang Memorial Fund to support the advancement of Urban Intercultural Ministry. Through this, we pray that the vision of "Reaching the World" will take root, flourish, and bear fruit in this land.
This year, we warmly invite you to join us at the Rev. Thomas Wang Memorial Fund Vision-Sharing Tea Reception. Together, we will witness God's new work in the Urban Intercultural Ministry while enjoying a selection of dim sum and specially prepared dishes. Our keynote speaker, Rev. Johnny Wong, will share a message titled "Crossing & Seeing," guiding us to re-examine our perspectives on life, the world, and values—and to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in investing our lives into God's eternal Kingdom.
